Delivering Results in His First Term

Greg didn't go to Montpelier to make noise — he went to get things done:

  • The Burtt Amendment: Act 250 relief for agritourism, passed with overwhelming bipartisan support — so Vermont farms can host farm dinners, maple open houses, and educational events without costly, duplicative permitting. Praised by the Secretary of Agriculture as a win for every working farm in Vermont.
  • Standing with first responders: Helped pass the new law protecting the confidentiality of peer-support sessions for emergency service providers, signed by Governor Scott in May 2026.
  • Improving health care access: Co-sponsored the bipartisan bill allowing telehealth appointments to be recorded with patient and provider consent, passed by the Legislature this session.

About Greg

Greg Burtt is a lifelong farmer, small business owner, and your current State Representative for Cabot, Danville, and Peacham. Greg and his family run Burtt's Apple Orchard and a 30,000-tap maple sugaring operation in Cabot, where his four daughters work alongside him on the farm. A UVM-trained engineer, church elder, and board member of the Vermont Center for Innovation in Agriculture, Greg doesn't just represent this community — he's part of it.

My Story

I've spent my entire life farming on the hillsides of Cabot. As a farmer and small business owner, I've experienced firsthand the hardships and rewards of working the land and running a business in Vermont. This experience has shaped my understanding of what our community needs to thrive.

Why I'm Running for Re-election

Serving as your State Representative has been an honor. I'm asking for your vote again because I still believe in:
